The "Christmas" Tree
Has nothing to do with Christianity,
but was one of many heathen traditions merged into religious tradition under Constantine. In order to maintain power and control of the new and exploding number of Christians, Constantine adopted and merged Christianity with the mainstream religions of the day. Centuries before Jesus was even born, there were those who worshiped trees, which is where this tradition started. And a warning was even recorded in the Old Testament by the prophet Jeremiah:
"Thus saith the Lord,

I am constantly amazed at how many 'Christians' are completely clueless about the book they 'believe in,' or how blind one can be to the truth.
It's funny to hear the excuses or explaining "Christians" attempt when confronted with this passage.
There is no room for interpretation here.
There is no "if's," "and's" or "but's."
This heathen tradition is clearly forbidden.
